Who publishes DriverZA

The DriverZA editorial team maintains this site. Each guide is built from checked records and reviewed before it goes live, so the team is the byline rather than an individual name. We do not publish company employees or outside writers as authors.

What DriverZA is

DriverZA is an independent South African information service about driver, delivery and courier work. We collect what each company says about its own requirements, put it in one place, date-stamp it, and link you to the company's own application page.

We are not a recruiter for any of these companies, we are not affiliated with them, and we cannot submit an application on your behalf.

Two lines we do not cross. We do not tell you what a company requires unless that company said it. And we do not tell you whether you are allowed to work in South Africa: that depends on your own status and documents, and it is a question for the Department of Home Affairs.

How we decide what to publish

Every material factual claim on this site is checked by a person against a named source before it is published, and the date they read that source is shown on the page. No automated tool is treated as a source. If we cannot find a source, the page says “Not confirmed”.

We rank sources in this order:

1. The company's own current South African page or application form.
2. South African government sources, for transport, permit and licensing rules.
3. Authoritative organisations such as UNHCR, where they are the right body to ask.
4. News reporting, clearly labelled as a news report.

A news report on its own is never enough for us to record something as required, accepted or refused. Those rows stay “Not confirmed”, and the note says what was reported.

When a company gives no answer, we write “Not confirmed”. Silence never means no. When a company's own pages contradict each other, we say so and show both readings rather than picking one.

We do not use AI to write, translate or summarise anything on this site. Every guide is written by a person from sources a person opened. Every translation is written by a person who speaks the language, and an unreviewed translation is never shown to visitors. Where a page says a company asks for something, somebody read that company's page and wrote down the date.

How often we check

Every fact carries the date a person last read its source, and every page prints it. Facts older than 30 days are flagged for review internally, and older than 90 days are treated as stale.

A date in a page title, like “2026”, changes when a person re-checks the page and edits it. It never changes just because the calendar did.

We re-read the whole catalogue in dated passes, and each pass records what it changed. Requirements do move between passes, so check the company's own page before you spend money.

Independence and advertising

DriverZA is independent. We are not a recruiter, we are not an agent, and we are not affiliated with any company listed here.

DriverZA is open to advertising and partnerships. Two things do not change. Advertising is always labelled as advertising. And what we say about a company's requirements comes from that company's own sources, so paying us cannot add a fact, remove one, change one, or move a company up a table.

Corrections

If something looks wrong or out of date, send us the page address, the sentence you think is wrong, and a link that shows the change. Use the contact form or email us.

We then open the company's own page ourselves. If it has changed, we update the record, change the date, and the correction is live the same day it is checked. If we cannot confirm the change, we tell you that rather than editing on a report alone.

We would rather hear about ten things that turn out to be fine than miss one that costs somebody money.
